The BCSHFM cheque was presented during the Media Announcement of the 2017 BCSHFM Inductee event held December 7th at the BC Sports Hall of Fame which attracted approximately 70 guests. I made mention of the significance of the perennial financial contribution from Ron Jones and the Founders Cup Foundation to the BCSHFM. There were three cheques presented; $15,000 to the BC Sports Hall of Fame Foundation, $10,000 to the BC Sports Hall of Fame and
Museum and $ 5,000 to the “First Fifty” group where 50 individual and Corporate donors donated $ 5,000 to the BCSHFM to support special initiatives.
