Mr. Jones made his personal gift of $50,000 to the BC Sports Hall of Fame Foundation in recognition of his retirement from the Foundation board. After decades of supporting the BC Sports Hall of Fame and its Foundation, Mr. Jones officially retired from his volunteer role. It is with immense gratitude that the donation was received. To mark the occasion and acknowledge his leadership, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to add Mr. Jones to our distinguished list of Honourary Trustees.

Since its inception in 1995, the Founder’s Cup Charity Classic has donated over $375,000 to the BC Sports Hall of Fame and an incredible $2,000,000 to other worthy charities.
